In safeguarding and controlling forex transactions in Tanzania, the Bank of Tanzania (BOT) has published new regulations to regulate foreign exchange in Tanzania. The Regulations which were published in the Government Notice no. 294 in the Government Gazette on the 13th day of May 2022 revoke the Foreign Exchange Regulations, 1998 and the Foreign Exchange (Listed Securities) Regulations, 2003.
