Key Experience:
 He has over 37 years experience in audit and assurance, both corporate and personal taxation services, dealt with company law matters, handled takeovers, receiverships and liquidation of a variety of businesses in both public and private sectors.

Vijay was the managing partner of the Nairobi office of the then Grant Thornton, Kenya before its merger with PKF Kenya in January 2012. 

His experience includes due diligence assignments involving mergers and takeovers, and various receivership and liquidation assignments for Fina Bank Ltd, Guardian Bank Ltd, Delphis Bank Ltd and Trust Bank Ltd.

Other assignments include certification and reporting on key financial ratios to the Capital Markets authority (CMA) for bond issue of Mabati Rolling Mills Ltd and Eslon plastics of Kenya Ltd. Similarly, certification of key ratios for medium sized clients for ‘Kenya Top 100 mid sized companies’ survey’ over the last few years.

He has carried out forensic exercise to track and record movement of a medical product from a US multinational to their Kenyan agent.
