We are pleased to announce the merger between PKF Rwanda and Green Horse Group with effect from 1 April 2014. The strategic decision to merge the two firms under the PKF brand has taken into account the synergies accruing from the rapid growth of Green Horse Group in Rwanda and PKF’s strong regional foot print in East Africa.
Gurmit Singh Santokh (pictured), who formed Green Horse Group in 2011 joins PKF Rwanda as a partner. Gurmit brings on board a wealth of experience having served clients in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia and Eritrea as a partner in one of the big four audit and consulting firms. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and Rwanda. Gurmit has served as the first Vice President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda on appointment by the Minister for Finance of Rwanda in 2008. He was recently been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of the Rwanda Revenue Authority though a Cabinet of Rwanda decision dated 28 March 2014.
The merger enhances PKF’s lead in accountancy and business advisory in the region and creates a more established regional presence with significant industry sector and geographical coverage across East Africa.
