PKF Community Day 2012


Our Community Day was held on 8th November 2012. Staff and Partners, were involved in various community activities around the region which aimed to improve conditions for disadvantaged children and enhance the learning environment.

 

The activities were sponsored by the PKF Foundation.

The Mater Heart Run 2012

 

The 9th edition of the Mater Heart Run was concurrently held Saturday May 26 2012 in Nairobi, Mombasa and Mumias. The 10 km run, held annually, aims to assist children from families who cannot afford the high cost of cardiac surgery. This year, the run aimed to raise Kshs 35 million. Over 2,000 children with heart diseases have benefited from the program since inception.

Banking Awards 2012

 

PKF Kenya partnered with the Banking Awards 2012, the seventh edition of the annual celebration of the achievements of Kenya’s banking sector. These Awards have been held annually since 2006. Their objective is to encourage prudence and stability in the banking sector by recognizing, awarding and celebrating exemplary performers and successes of the sector.

Insurance Awards 2012

 

Once again, PKF Kenya were the Judging Process Partner at the 2012 Insurance Awards, the 3rd edition of the annual celebration of Kenya’s Insurance sector. The objective of the awards is to encourage growth, product and service innovation, prudence in risk management and quality in service delivery in the Insurance sector by recognizing, awarding and celebrating exemplary performers, consequently encouraging competition in the industry. The awards aim to draw the attention of the insurance market to the performance of the various players in the sector, consequently encouraging competition. The Insurance Awards gala to award the winners in the various categories will be held on July 18, 2012 at InterContinental Nairobi.

PKF Kenya touches a child’s heart in the Mater Heart Run

PKF Kenya continuously commits to responsible business practices by supporting the community. This year PKF sponsored The Mater Heart Run by donating KES 200,000.The event which occurs every year is geared towards raising funds for heart operations for children from underprivileged backgrounds suffering from heart conditions.
