| 1964 | Established in Kenya as Kassim - Lakha Abdulla & Co. (KLA & Co.). The founding partners were Zavahir Alibhai, Ameer Kassim-Lakha and Mohamed Abdulla | ||||
| 1965 | Kassim Lakha merged with Noordin Neallani & Co. of Kampala | ||||
| 1967 | Merged with Ravji Habib & Co. of Dar-es-salaam | ||||
| 1982 | Tanzania office closed due to constant border closures that persisted between Tanzania and Kenya after the collapse of the East African Community | ||||
| 2000 | KLA & Co. merged with Samvir & Co. and the firm was renamed as Kassim - Lakha Samvir Abdulla | ||||
| 2002 | Admitted as a member of PKF International and changed name to KLSA Pannell Kerr Forster. By now the firm had offices in Kenya and Uganda. | ||||
| 2007 | Office opened in Kigali, Rwanda | ||||
| 2012 | PKF Kenya merges with Grant Thornton, Kenya. The merged firm will continue as PKF Kenya | ||||
